Some say strength comes from deep inside each of us. Some say strength comes through transparency and reconcilliation.

The first few days in prison have been nothing short of surreal. I feel like I am in a different world…

A familiar world I thought I would only revisit in my nightmares,

surrounded by unfamiliar faces and rules, constantly reminded of my mistakes.

When my husband dropped me off at the Prison camp in Phoenix, it was quiet. We parked in the parking lot, and walked in to the empty lobby. Nobody there to receive me, as they were not expecting me until April 13th. "Who surrenders almost a month early?" was thequestion of the day from basically everyone I encoutered.
